Reporting to the Vice President, the Program Manager oversees scope, schedule, budget, staffing, programmatic activities, and other task order deliverables related to integrating combat systems with fire control and surveillance systems supporting a federal program office. This is a contingent position expected to be located in Virginia Beach, VA

What You'll Do

  • Manage all activities related to scope, schedule, budget, staffing, programmatic actions, and other task order deliverables supporting this task.
  • Brief senior leadership and other stakeholders on program status, to include staffing, risks, and other metrics.
  • Bid and proposal support, if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this role.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, computer science, math, or business discipline.
  • Fifteen (15) years managing technical programs associated with combat systems.
  • Demonstrated management experience within an Integrated Product Team environment, coordinating with radar engineering, logistics, installation and programmatic functions for surveillance radars such as those listed in the SOW.
  • Demonstrated experience in program plans and schedules that are derived from an integrated master schedule.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying technical and programmatic risk areas and in developing and implementing risk mitigation plans for surveillance radars such as those listed in the SOW.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget forecasting and execution.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel,
  • PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
