PMW/A 170 is the Communication and Navigation Program Office, supporting both the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (PEO C4I) and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). As a Program Office, PMW/A 170 manages the acquisition, fielding, integration, and support of a wide variety of communications and GPS based PNT systems throughout the Naval enterprise. The Program Office is the leading provider of global voice, video, and data information exchange capability and fleet-wide GPS-based PNT services for the United States Navy. PMW/A 170’s mission is to provide and support a range of interoperable, cost-effective Communications and Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems and services that support the Navy’s global mission. These systems are installed and operated on surface, subsurface, space, and airborne platforms deployed worldwide.

 

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Management Specialist is responsible for providing direct support to the APM and coordinating with the Lead PM support for overall program activities on the PMW/A 170 Professional Support Services (PSS) contract. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

What You'll Do

  • Interact with diverse functional teams in an IPT environment, and author documentation and presentations in support of program decisions and reviews.
  • Assist in the development and management of financial and program budget documents (language and schedule), analyze financial execution reports, and provide output of analysis on regular basis to clients (i.e., development spend plans, annualized appropriation phasing plans, Program Objective Memorandum, etc.)
  • Support additional PM team with Installation funding tracking, BWSR, RDAIS & DAVE submissions, Risk support, Document routing, SIPR support & data calls, Action tracking, Quality Assurance (QA) for cross team deliverables (review briefs, docs, emails, etc. prior to submission).
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • HS Diploma required.
  • Approximately three (3) years of experience supporting NAVWAR and PEO C4I is required, to include the following experience:
    • Financial management support and/or tracking financial documents
    • Familiarity with NAVWAR competency processes for installation, Ship Change Documents (SCD), Engineering Change Requests (ECR), etc.
  • Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
  • 10% travel required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

 

INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $75,000 – $105,000. This position is eligible to participate in our corporate 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) programs, and may be eligible for performance bonuses, and other rewards and benefits (see more about our compensation package and benefits offered at Culture @ INDUS | INDUS Technology). The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
