United States Fleet Forces Command (USFFC) supports both the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) and Combatant Commanders worldwide by providing responsive, relevant, and sustainable Naval forces ready for tasking. The command provides operational and planning support to Combatant Commanders and integrated warfighter capability requirements to the CNO. Additionally, USFFC serves as the CNO’s designated Executive Agent for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (ATFP), Individual Augmentees (IA), and Sea Basing. USFFC organizes, operates, trains, maintains, and equips Navy forces, develops and submits budgets, and executes readiness and personnel accounts to develop both required and sustainable levels of Fleet readiness. Additionally, the command serves as the unified voice for Fleet training requirements and policies to generate combat-ready Navy forces per the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) using the Fleet Training Continuum (FTC). The mission of the Financial Systems Division ensures the highest quality information, data, and technology solutions are provided to the USFFC Financial Management Community to continuously improve the efficiency and performance of financial IT systems, associated business processes, IT General Controls (ITGC), audit readiness initiatives, and mission readiness. The USFFC Comptroller’s offices is responsible for the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of mission-funded fiscal resources supporting USFFC Headquarters and staff. The Comptroller’s function is to oversee all processes related to Budget Formulation and Execution, Funds Administration, and Financial Policy and Systems and to supervise the Fleet Financial Managers who maintain official records of obligations and expenditures throughout the fleet.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Jr. ERP Systems Analyst will provide Tier 1 Help /Desk and End User Support for Navy ERP as well as legacy systems CFMS and SABRS on the United States Fleet Forces Command (USFFC) Financial Management Support Services (FMSS) contract. This position is located in Norfolk, VA.
Support Tier 1 Help Desk and End User Support for Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and legacy systems CFMS and SABRS, including event, incident, problem, request, and access management.
Provide Tier I support for immediate end-user interfaces related to both legacy SABRS and new ERP business processes.
Provide Tier I system administrative support for new and existing trading partners, including SABRS and ERP.
Provide Tier I support for engineering-level troubleshooting and configuration changes affecting accounting system partners.
Record and track issues and help desk tickets using the current trouble ticketing system.
Analyze trouble tickets to identify areas for improvement.
Perform analysis and resolve issues reported by customers or program resources.
Communicate incident status and actions to end users within specified Service Level Targets (SLTs), and document using program-provided tools.
Apply analysis techniques (e.g., root cause, trend analysis, failure mode effect analysis) to evaluate trouble tickets.
Update data in the Naval Identity Service (NIS) System and Navy ERP based on approved trouble tickets within defined SLTs.
Support increased operational tempo during month-end and annual financial close processing.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Process Activity Streams (PAS) for all trouble ticket resolution processes, including impacted General Ledger Accounting System interfaces.
Identify, document, and present opportunities to improve common or standard processes and tool utilization.
Develop and maintain knowledge management artifacts.
