United States Fleet Forces Command (USFFC) supports both the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) and Combatant Commanders worldwide by providing responsive, relevant, and sustainable Naval forces ready for tasking. The command provides operational and planning support to Combatant Commanders and integrated warfighter capability requirements to the CNO. Additionally, USFFC serves as the CNO’s designated Executive Agent for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (ATFP), Individual Augmentees (IA), and Sea Basing. USFFC organizes, operates, trains, maintains, and equips Navy forces, develops and submits budgets, and executes readiness and personnel accounts to develop both required and sustainable levels of Fleet readiness. Additionally, the command serves as the unified voice for Fleet training requirements and policies to generate combat-ready Navy forces per the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) using the Fleet Training Continuum (FTC). The mission of the Financial Systems Division ensures the highest quality information, data, and technology solutions are provided to the USFFC Financial Management Community to continuously improve the efficiency and performance of financial IT systems, associated business processes, IT General Controls (ITGC), audit readiness initiatives, and mission readiness. The USFFC Comptroller’s offices is responsible for the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of mission-funded fiscal resources supporting USFFC Headquarters and staff. The Comptroller’s function is to oversee all processes related to Budget Formulation and Execution, Funds Administration, and Financial Policy and Systems and to supervise the Fleet Financial Managers who maintain official records of obligations and expenditures throughout the fleet.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the ERP Financial Systems Analyst serves as a functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Navy financial systems, supporting the financial management community through system expertise, business process support, training, and analysis. on the United States Fleet Forces Command (USFFC) Financial Management Support Services (FMSS) contract. This position is located in Norfolk, VA.
Provide Tier I functional support for financial system users via a ticketing system, focusing on business process issues, data accuracy, access requests, and financial transaction support (this role does not perform IT infrastructure or hardware support).
Analyze and resolve financial system issues related to budget execution, accounting, funds control, and reporting in accordance with established financial policies and procedures.
